_____________________________________________________________________
Raleigh, NC, October 11, 2004 –
Bob Broda, Managing Partner of
Visage Solutions, LLC. will be a panelist at North Carolina
State's College of Management Graduate Symposium
Sarbanes-Oxley: A Three Year Retrospective, at
the Sheraton Capital Center
on October 21, 2005.
| Sarbanes Oxley: A Three Year
Retrospect: In reaction to the Enron and
WorldCom scandals, Congress passed the
Sarbanes-Oxley accounting and corporate governance
law in July 2002. Has this law really done much to
prevent future scandals? Has it had the promised
soothing effect on investor confidence? Or has
Sarbanes-Oxley merely deflected attention from the
real causes of frauds and bankruptcies while giving
rise to unanticipated adverse consequences? Should
Congress push forward with additional regulation or
reduce unnecessary regulation. |
NC State University College of Management proudly
presents the 2005 Graduate Symposium. This annual event
brings together industry leaders, faculty, and graduate
students to exchange ideas focused on the management of
technology and strategies for the changing business world. See
